The sonic universe's greatest blessing since enlightenment, Khruangbin have been hard at work since the release of 2018’s “Con Todo El Mundo”. A 2 and a half year world tour and an EP with Leon Bridges later brings us to their newest single, “Time (You&I)”. Presented with their signature sound and funk, this song is a joy to listen to. Laura Lee continues to reign as the queen of bass. No one comes close. Give her all the awards. I think this song has the most words in any other Khruangbin song. Though repetitive, they do strike a chord. “If we had more time, we could live forever. Just you and I. We could be together. That's life”. Pure love. This probably won't convert any new fans but it reminds us that as long as the universe smiles, Khruangbin will be making us dance.
